Today I’m with Bryan Alexander who is a futurist, researcher, writer, speaker, consultant, and teacher, working in the field of how technology transforms education. His background includes a PhD in English language and literature from the University of Michigan.
From 2002 to 2014 Bryan worked with the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE), a non-profit, working to help small colleges and universities best integrate digital technologies. With NITLE he held several roles, including co-director of a regional education and technology center, director of emerging technologies, and senior fellow. In 2013 Bryan launched Bryan Alexander Consulting, LLC. Through this he consults throughout higher education in the United States and abroad.
We catch up with Bryan where we chat about the general future of higher education. As per Bryan, the higher ed future has some very large (and dark) challenges ahead but, also with other great opportunities ahead to take advantage of. So, with that, Bryan, welcome to the Executive Voices podcast!
I would to thank Bryan Alexander for his time and valuable insights here on the Executive Voices podcast. This is Jim Dutcher and please consider accessing our website at eCIO.tv for this and our companion podcast series, CIO Voices.
